most successful mo thod. The attendances have been extremely good.

Anti-Gas training has been added to the already full curriculum of

pfantry Training.

At the G.0.0's Inspection there were 6 officers and 116 other

ranks on parade and the appearance and bearing of the mon was

excellent.

The Company took part in the Combined Operations, sypplying

5 Officers and 100 other ranks, a most gratifying turn out in view

of weather conditions. The drawing of stores was efficiently

carried out and the defence duties during the night successfully

prevented a landing on the area covered by the Company.

During the year a further addition was made to tha

Commissioned Ranks, L/Corporal H.A. de B. Botelho being promoted to

Second Lieutenant, having attended the Junior Wing Course through-

out the summer. Second Lieutenant F.P. Sequeira was promoted to

Lieutenant and Lieutenant J.S. Rodrigues to Captain.

Captain Rodrigues was in Command of the Company during the

absence on leave of Captain S. Jarvis and carried out his duties in

a very able manner hand ing the Company over on Captain Jarvis'

return in better condition than when he left it.

MEDICAL SECTION.

Major J.C. Macgown, M.D.. Ch.B. (Edin).

The Section has attended lectures on the organization of the

Regular R.A.M.C.

Instructions has been given in 1st Aid and stretcher bearing.

The Section has been responsible for the health of the Troops in

Camp and for the Camp sanitation and hygiene.

Orderlies and Medical Officers have been supplied to Units

training away from Headquarters. Twenty Candidates for the Air Arm

were examined by the Modical officers.

The efficiency of the Unit has been fully maintained and

several new members have recently been enlisted.
